Editor’s Note:

Some people were rather confused by all the numbers when it comes to the financing scheme, so I hope my explanation will make it easier. Here are some keypoints to remember:

The house and lot sells for 616,000 pesos.

You can reserve for as low as 5,000 pesos (This is non-refundable and part of the downpayment, and will be deducted from the downpayment).

There is a downpayment of 41,000.00 pesos (36,000 pesos if you payed the reservation fee), and this can be payed within 9 month, for a total of 4,000 pesos a month with no interest.

Payment of monthly amortization will start only after you finish paying the downpayment.
